La Cocina Del Rey: Authentic Mexican Breakfast & Brunch in Grovetown

Amazing Mexican restaurant! The food is absolutely delicious, portions are generous, and the prices are very affordable. Everything was ready in just about five minutes,super fast service! Definitely worth coming back.

Delicious Mexican food. I got the Queso Birrias on this visit, and god they were so, so delicious. I’ve been here a few times now, and every time the food never fails to impress. Big groups or small group, they have plenty of space and still get your food out to you in very reasonable times.

This place is awesome & needs to be visited by the producers of Drive-in’s, Diners and Dives. We ordered the Pollo Locos, Birra Quesadilla Tacos, and Steak enchiladas with red sauce. The food was perfectly prepared and the service was top notch.

Decided to try this place today. We were greeted when we walked in and told to pick a seat. Our waitress took our drink orders and the service started off a little rocky when she brought me back a dark soda when I ordered sprite. That’s ok! She fixed it immediately - however we didn’t realize this would be just the start of our waitress seemingly not listening to what was being ordered. We got the quesa birria tacos, flautas, and a chicken taco. My spouse rated the quesa birria a 7/10 - he said it was good but lacked a little bit of flavor in the meat/consume I ordered the flautas without sour cream - but they came out covered in sour cream. This was sad because I did make sure to specify no sour scream when ordering. The waitress did have the kitchen send out new ones and fixed it. Sadly, this was our first time eating here, so we were not aware of the salsa bar. It’s sitting near some other stands that the workers were accessing so it wasn’t very clear it was for patrons to self serve - we had to ask our waitress and towards the end of our meal is when we realized. It seems like something the waitress would mention to each patron just so they are aware - or maybe when they approach the table for the drink orders ask if the customer has ever been there before so you can be sure to mention it. Overall the service could have been better. The food was really good. I especially liked the chicken taco I ordered and would come back for more. The ingredients seemed fresh and all food came out hot.

This was honestly the restaurant we have been looking for! With a full breakfast menu that is served ALL DAY!! Whhhhaaaaaattttt?!! The food was incredible!!! I never get full but TODAY I didn’t even finish my plate!!! We will definitely be back!! The drinks are amazing as well with drink specials every week day!! See ya Monday $5 jumbo margaritas

Got the egg rolls during our first visit. I had no idea what to expect but they exceeded my highest expectations, they were so delicious! The salsa bar was good and the service was excellent too, very friendly and quick. Will definitely be back!

Most authentic Mexican food I’ve had in this area. Very good and fresh with pleasant staff that had our order ready to go in no time. Will be the only place I go from now on. Only complaint is it took me so long to find it.

We stopped here on the way (we're not from around here). We love Mexican food but didn't come with lots of expectations. Wow. We really enjoyed. The place looks great visually. The salsa bar is free and generous. 3 of us ordered different tacos. They were all really good. I think the cachete was exceptional. One of kids ordered a gordita and the other a borrito, which came with home made chips. Generous portions and tasty. The service was really good as well. Highly recommended!
